How do I take measurement for my new blinds?

Measuring your window yourself for your new blinds could save lots of money and takes just minutes. All you have to do is follow our easy, step-by-step guides below.

Inside Fitting

This is the measurement you need to take if you want your blind to fit inside the window gap. Measure the full width and height of the recess with metal tape, and we will make the appropriate deductions to ensure a perfect fit.

Exact Fitting

This is the measurement you need to take if you want the blind to hang outside the recess, overlapping the window. In this case, we will make the blind to your specified size without deductions. To minimize light leakage we recommend that the blind overlaps the inside area of the window by at least 70 mm at the top and 50 mm each side.

If you want your blind to overlap at the bottom, consider obstacles such as radiators.
To replace existing blind, simply measure the blind, we will make you one the same size.
To measure roller blind we recommend overall width of the blind including the brackets which can be 3.5 cm wider than the fabric.
